Cancellation Policy

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY - As our drivers are routed minutes after a request is made and as drivers make commitments to go to a pickup location when receiving a request, Alpha Delivery Services, Inc. will charge a cancellation fee to compensate the driver for the time and money spent doing so. If your request is cancelled within 5 minutes of the request being confirmed, you will not be charged.

  • If for any reason our driver is normally at your location within an hour of notification of a run. If our driver is late and you wish to cancel, the cancellation fee will be waived.
  • The cancellation fee will be a flat $25 for driver compensation. If the pickup/delivery request has already been routed to the driver and the request is cancelled, the cancellation fee of a minimum of $25 will still apply.
  • A cancellation fee will always apply if a trip is cancelled after it has begun and after the driver has arrived on our premises.
  • We shall do our best to make your delivery in a timely fashion. You are getting a dedicated driver and appropriate vehicle size. Weather and road conditions apply and are considered an act of God. We can do nothing about road conditions. But we will inform you of any delays.
  • We have GPS in all of our vehicles so that we are aware of delays. The driver will always inform us of delays.
  • In the event that one of our supplied couriers failed to collect a package because:
     - incorrect paperwork
     - your premises were closed
     - insufficient packaging
     - customer not present

Alpha Delivery will then re-book the request for the next business day and the client is subject to a wasted journey charge. Cancellation fee amounts are subject to management approval and vary by service, city and vehicle options.
